History Of Somali Lifeline Organization

Somali Lifeline Organization (SOLO) is a legally registered Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) with over 10 years of experience in implementation of humanitarian, early recovery and developmental interventions in Somalia/Somaliland and Kenya. The organization was formed in 2008 by local professionals with a vision of enhancing development and improving livelihood among the vulnerable agro-pastoral and pastoralist communities in Somalia/Somaliland and the entire Horn of Africa.
The founders are indigenous professionals who have worked in the aid and development sector accumulatively for over two decades, who felt the urgent need to give back to their communities to help them overcome problems faced.
